The MacRobertson Bridge was built as a scheme to create employment during the Great Depression. It was funded by Sir Macpherson Robertson, who had made a fortune selling MacRobertson chocolates.
Along the walk (in May 2008) we got some good sightings of a range of birds and some dusk shots as the sun set.
