Anthony Holmes' Photos

Anthony Holmes > A view towards the skyline of Melbourne from the south eastern corner of Albert Park Lake.

Technical explanation behind the image: Three images with -2, 0 and +2 exposure combined as a High Dynamic Range image to provide details in clouds, trees and buildings. Converted to black & white with a red filter (to accentuate the clouds and lighten the trees). Clarify tool used. Noise added to 'roughen' the image.
Anthony Holmes > "The Edge". On the observation deck at Eureka Tower, you can pay extra to go out onto "The Edge". This is a glass box that protrudes out of the edge of the building. Initially the glass is obscured. But once the box is out, it turns clear: in all directions, including the floor.

Anthony Holmes > From this position, the Eureka Tower is rising 297.3 metres upwards. (You've got to wonder why they didn't add 1cm extra per floor and make it an even 300 metres.)
